Description: The Grey Hound Sporting Lodge
The Lodge holds 74 bedrooms including 26 American sized suites. All rooms fully en suite with TV, stereo, video, iron and ironing board. Trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities and ample desk space for business users. The lodge is a safe, female friendly environment with double locks and one way door vision security. Free Car Parking available for over 100 cars. The Escape Zone: a fully equipped fitness and leisure complex that includes a gymnasium, swimming pool, steam room, sauna, spa and sun beds. All guests can enjoy full use during their stay. The Paddocks Restaurant: a family restaurant and Carvery voted restaurant of the year 2004 by the Leigh Journal newspaper. The restaurant offers a large selection of freshly prepared meals from a daily mouth watering Carvery menu, including fine wines and a good selection of beers to compliment any meal. Hectors Bar: a traditional pub, offering good quality food and drink at affordable prices. You can relax and enjoy the atmosphere, watch big screen sports on our plasma screen, try a cocktail, or join us for quiz night and karaoke night. Our Function Rooms: accommodates 2 to 150 people. We cater for all occasions including Civil Ceremonies, weddings, christening, conferences and private parties.
Directions
Manchester International Airport:
Join the M56 then follow signs for M60 signed Ring Road West and North. Take the northern route signed Leeds, Bolton. At Junction 13 follow signs for A575 Worsley, Leigh. Follow A572 to traffic signals. Turn left on to the A580. Continue for approx 5 miles. The hotel is situated on a roundabout opposite the Total Petrol Station.
Liverpool John Lennon International Airport (LPL):
Follow signs for A562 and M62 Motorway. At M62 follow signs for Manchester. At junction 23 marked Haydock Park Race Course. Take the A580 East Lancashire Road in the direction of Manchester. Follow the A580 for approx 5 miles until you come to a roundabout with a Total Petrol Station on the right hand side and The Greyhound Hotel is on your left hand side, take the first exit on the left into the car park.
