Most famed for the quality of food, the Crown also offers ten newly re-designed en-suite rooms. Dressed in beautifully styled soft furnishings our rooms feature colour tv, direct line telephone, trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities. Everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The following morning sample our traditional cooked breakfast served in our relaxing conservatory breakfast room. We also have a function room that has been fully refurbished that can accommodate anything from a business meeting to a conference for up to 80 people.

From M6 J27: Follow signs to Standish. At the main crossroad/ traffic lights in Standish Centre (2 miles) turn left (Somerfield on left). After 100 yards turn right into Avondale Street (next to Standish Auto Recovery). Follow road down long hill and under Railway Bridge the Crown is on right hand side. From M61 J6: Go on to A6 towards Chorley. After 1 mile turn left towards Blackrod then immediately left by The Poacher Pub towards Aspull. In Aspull turn right at roundabout towards Standish. Follow country road for about 4 miles descending steep hill turn right at roundabout. Straight on at next mini roundabout. Follow road for about 1 mile Platt lane is left turning immediately after Kilhey Court Hotel. The Crown is on your left.
