La Tour Hotel is located in the town centre within 5 minutes walk of the Tower, Winter Gardens, promenade, piers, shopping and entertainment centres. Established 30 years. All bedrooms are ensuite (toilet and shower, sorry no baths) with colour tv, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and alarm clocks. Prices quoted include breakfast. Renowned for excellent cuisine, entertainment and a warm, friendly welcome. Our guests return year after year. There is a lift to all floors and a wheelchair ramp at the front of the property. A number of hotel rooms are suitable for guests in wheelchairs or with other mobility difficulties. **Billback is not accepted by this establishment - payment must be made either on check out or before arrival**.

Directions

By car. M55 to the last juction and follow the signs for car parks. Head towards Central car park, red sign, and as you exit turn left. The road veers around to the right into Albert Road. Go through the traffic lights, the hotel is on the left hand side. You may load and unload in front of the hotel, however parking on street is only available for 80 MINUTES until 6pm for which you must pay and display. (No return allowed within 2 hours). As you will have seen on your drive in there are numerous parking places in town with varied rates. By train. Most trains require you to change at PRESTON. Be sure to take the train for BLACKPOOL NORTH. On reaching the station the easiest option is to take a taxi (should be no more than 4GBP). If you would like to walk - exit the station and veer to your right. Do not go into the underpass. Take the ramp to your left before it. At the top of the ramp cross the road diagonally towards the bus station/car park. Walk down the side of the station (NOT the open front, where the buses/cars exit), cross the first road (keeping The Hop pub situated on the fork to your left) and take the right fork (King Street). Follow King Street and cross two roads (Church Street first, then Adelaide Street). You will see a bar called Fisherman's Cove on the first corner and a Doctors surgery on the second corner. King Street becomes South King Street at that first corner. Stay on the right hand side and you will pass another Doctors surgery. At the next main street turn right. This is Albert Road. Cross over the two side streets and we are a further 75 yards down on the right hand side. This walk should only take approx. 10 minutes (traffic permitting) for a slow walker. By air. Blackpool Airport is on the outskirts of the town. It is served by local taxi companies (approx 6 GBP) and by bus. Bus numbers 7 and 11 pick up from outside the airport and will drop you at Blackpool Tower or the Bus Station. To walk from the bus station see above (by train). From the Tower walk down the side of the Tower building (Pricebusters) and head towards the McDonalds on the corner. Turn left up Albert Road and go through the traffic lights. We are about 150 yards up on the left hand side. If you are arriving at Manchester Airport there is a direct train service to Blackpool North at least every hour. Journey time is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Please see above (by train) for how to reach us once you arrive in Blackpool.

Standard room with 2 single beds. More spacious than a double with two single beds. Some rooms have the beds together, others apart and some are suitable for wheelchairs.

Double ensuite.

Standard double with 1 double bed. Comfortable room with double bed. Room is not suitable for wheelchairs. Most doubles are on the rear of the building.
